Spo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 v eluci vzork\u016f a odd\u011blen\u00ed plovouc\u00ed \u010d\u00e1sti, kter\u00e1 je koncentrov\u00e1na v bezobratl\u00fdch a kter\u00e1 je konzervov\u00e1na v ethanolu, a sedimentovan\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1sti (p\u00edsek, kameny), kter\u00e1 je na m\u00edst\u011b zmra\u017eena. Vzorky, kter\u00e9 jsou p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 mal\u00e9 na to, aby mohly b\u00fdt elutriov\u00e1ny, jsou zcela konzervov\u00e1ny v ethanolu, vzorky, kter\u00e9 nemohou b\u00fdt elutriov\u00e1ny (kal), jsou zcela zmra\u017eeny.
