R\u00f8g og st\u00f8v, der dannes under svejseprocessen, kan potentielt indeholde carcinogene forbindelser af Chrom VI, nikkel og kobolt og andre farlige stoffer. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Svejser\u00f8g er blevet klassificeret som carcinogen for mennesker (gruppe 1) af IARC. Arbejde som svejser sk\u00f8nnes at v\u00e6re forbundet med en betydelig stigning i risikoen for lungekr\u00e6ft, som kan skyldes ind\u00e5nding af st\u00f8v og r\u00f8g fra svejsning af metaller. <\/p>\n<h2>Hvor risici opst\u00e5r<\/h2>\n<p>Svejser\u00f8g dannes, n\u00e5r metaller opvarmes over deres kogepunkt (fordampes), og deres dampe hurtigt kondenserer til meget fine partikler (faste partikler eller st\u00f8v). De vigtigste metaller, der bruges i Europa, er st\u00e5l (ulegeret og lav- og mellemlegeret), rustfrit st\u00e5l (st\u00f8bejern og nikkelbaseret) samt aluminium og aluminiumlegeringer. <\/p>\n<p>Gassvejsning, lysbuesvejsning, str\u00e5lesvejsning, bl\u00f8dlodning, h\u00e5rdlodning, lodning, termisk sk\u00e6ring eller mejsling, flammeretning og termisk spr\u00f8jtning er de mest relevante svejseprocesser, hvor der kan dannes carcinogent st\u00f8v og r\u00f8g.<br \/>\nEksponering for svejser\u00f8g forekommer i flere sektorer som f.eks. skibsbygning, bil- og maskinteknik, bygge- og anl\u00e6gsvirksomhed (f.eks. broer, trapper, altaner), Blikkenslagerarbejde, transport og inden for telekommunikation. De besk\u00e6ftigede er hovedsageligt svejsere, flammesk\u00e6rere og metalarbejdere og de arbejdere, der arbejder t\u00e6t p\u00e5. <\/p>\n<h2>Mere om stoffet<\/h2>\n<p>Den type svejseproces, der anvendes, vil p\u00e5virke arten og omfanget af de farlige stoffer, der produceres i st\u00f8v og r\u00f8g. R\u00f8gen fra svejse- og varmesk\u00e6ringsprocesser er en varierende blanding af farlige stoffer, som kan ind\u00e5ndes. Svejser\u00f8gens sammens\u00e6tning afh\u00e6nger af grund- og tilsatsmaterialet og svejseteknikken. De svejseteknikker, der har de h\u00f8jeste emissionsrater, er lasersvejsning med tilsatsmaterialer, MIG (massiv tr\u00e5d, nikkel, nikkelbaserede legeringer), MAG (massiv tr\u00e5d og flux-cored med og uden beskyttelsesgas), lasersk\u00e6ring, autogen flammesk\u00e6ring, plasmask\u00e6ring, lysbuespr\u00f8jtning og flammespr\u00f8jtning. Potentielt frigjorte carcinogener under svejseprocesser er forbindelser af <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/fact\/beryllium-compounds\/\">beryllium<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/fact\/cadmium-compounds\/\">cadmium<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/good-practice\/substituting-chromium-trioxide-based-functional-chrome-plating-of-dental-instruments-for-dental-treatment\/\">Chrom VI<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/fact\/cobalt-compounds\/\">kobolt<\/a> og <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/fact\/nickel-compounds\/\">nikkel<\/a>.    <\/p>\n<h2>Farer, der kan opst\u00e5<\/h2>\n<p>Akut uds\u00e6ttelse for svejser\u00f8g og -gasser kan resultere i irritation af \u00f8jne, n\u00e6se og hals, svimmelhed og kvalme samt metalr\u00f8gfeber. Langvarig uds\u00e6ttelse for svejser\u00f8g kan for\u00e5rsage lungeskader og forskellige former for kr\u00e6ft, herunder lunge-, strube- og urinvejskr\u00e6ft. De vigtigste ikke-kr\u00e6ftsygdomme er akutte eller kroniske effekter i luftvejene som KOL, erhvervsastma og svejserlunge. <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/fact\/ultraviolet-radiation\/\">UV-lys<\/a>, der udsendes under svejsning, kan dog ogs\u00e5 for\u00e5rsage \u00f8jenmelanom. R\u00f8g, der frigives under svejsning af bl\u00f8dt st\u00e5l (og tilstedev\u00e6relsen af mangan i st\u00e5let), kan f\u00f8re til neurologiske symptomer, der ligner Parkinsons sygdom. Disse symptomer omfatter tale- og balanceforstyrrelser.     <\/p>\n<h2>Hvad du kan g\u00f8re<\/h2>\n<p>Det n\u00f8jagtige risikoniveau fra svejser\u00f8g afh\u00e6nger af tre faktorer: hvor giftig r\u00f8gen er, hvor koncentreret den er, og hvor l\u00e6nge du ind\u00e5nder den. Kan r\u00f8gen elimineres ved at skifte til en kold proces (f.eks. guillotine), eller kan der bruges andre forbrugsmaterialer (renere svejsetr\u00e5de)? Hvis ikke, er den bedste l\u00f8sning at minimere r\u00f8gen ved at redesigne arbejdet og genoverveje de anvendte teknikker og materialer, f.eks. den udsugede svejsebr\u00e6nder. For det andet kan l\u00f8sningen v\u00e6re at installere effektive generelle og lokale ventilationssystemer (LEV) og at placere sig korrekt (st\u00e5 i modvind). Hvis der ikke er tilstr\u00e6kkelig kontrol fra LEV, eller hvis det ikke er praktisk muligt at s\u00f8rge for LEV, skal arbejderne bruge passende \u00e5ndedr\u00e6tsv\u00e6rn (RPE). Til arbejde i op til en time anbefales en FFP3 engangsmaske eller halvmaske med P3-filter. Ved l\u00e6ngerevarende arbejde skal der anvendes batteridrevet luftforsynet beskyttelsesudstyr med en minimumsbeskyttelsesfaktor p\u00e5 20 (APF20). S\u00f8rg for, at RPE&#8217;en testes, s\u00e5 den passer til ansigtet. Ved svejsning udend\u00f8rs fungerer LEV ikke, s\u00e5 arbejderne skal bruge passende RPE til at kontrollere eksponeringen. Svejsere b\u00f8r forst\u00e5 farerne ved de materialer, de arbejder med.
