Oximer bruges i flydende maling og overfladebehandling (hvor de fungerer som antihudmidler) og i nogle typer silanbaserede fugemasser. Da de er flygtige, er den vigtigste eksponeringsvej ind\u00e5nding.  <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Oximer beskriver en stoffamilie. Oximerne Methylethylketoxime eller 2-butanone oxime (MEKO) og acetone oxime, der anvendes i maling, lak og fugemasse, er klassificeret som carcinogener i kategori 1B i henhold til CLP-forordningen. MEKO er yderligere klassificeret for specifik m\u00e5lorgantoksicitet med effekter p\u00e5 de \u00f8vre luftveje (STOT SE 1, H370) og blodsystemet (STOT RE 2, H373) ved l\u00e6ngerevarende eller gentagen eksponering. Lignende effekter p\u00e5 blodsystemet er observeret for acetoneoxim og andre oximer.   <\/p>\n<h2>Hvor risici opst\u00e5r<\/h2>\n<p>Erhvervsm\u00e6ssig eksponering sker hovedsageligt i p\u00e5f\u00f8ringsfasen af flydende maling og coatings, n\u00e5r opl\u00f8sningsmidlerne fordamper. Typisk foreg\u00e5r p\u00e5f\u00f8ringen af maling og overfladebehandling i arbejderens synsfelt, som er i ind\u00e5ndingszonen, s\u00e5 eksponeringen for dampe er h\u00f8j. I tilf\u00e6lde af oximfrigivende silaner frigives oximer kontinuerligt under h\u00e6rdningsfasen, indtil fugemassen er helt h\u00e6rdet. Der kan forventes h\u00f8je eksponeringer i maler- og lakeringssektoren og ved spr\u00f8jtning og lakering af motork\u00f8ret\u00f8jer. Derfor er de erhverv, der har h\u00f8j risiko for eksponering for Oximer, malere, autolakerere (n\u00e5r de maler), men ogs\u00e5 Blikkenslagere og mont\u00f8rer, n\u00e5r de bruger oximafgivende fugemasser. Desuden kan andre erhverv v\u00e6re i fare, n\u00e5r de g\u00e5r ind i arbejdsomr\u00e5der, hvor der tidligere er blevet brugt produkter, der indeholder Oximer, og som stadig fordamper.     <\/p>\n<h2>Mere om stoffet<\/h2>\n<p>Oximer er farvel\u00f8se, flygtige v\u00e6sker med en aromatisk lugt. De mest anvendte oximer er 2-butanonoxim (MEKO), acetonoxim, 2-pentanonoxim (MPKO) og 4-methypentanonoxim (MIBKO). De bruges dog n\u00e6sten aldrig i ren form, men i lave koncentrationer (normalt &lt; 1%) som antihudmidler i (for det meste alkyl-) maling og bel\u00e6gninger eller i bundet form i silanforseglingsmidler, der frigiver oximer.  <\/p>\n<h2>Farer, der kan opst\u00e5<\/h2>\n<p>Der findes indtil videre ingen epidemiologiske data for mennesker om de toksikologiske virkninger af nogen Oximer. I dyrefors\u00f8g er de vigtigste m\u00e5lorganer leveren, milten og blodsystemet efter oral eller inhalationseksponering for oximer. For MEKO blev der desuden observeret forbig\u00e5ende narkotiske virkninger og irritation af huden. Det skal bem\u00e6rkes, at allergiske hudreaktioner er mulige efter dermal eksponering for MEKO. Til dato er det kun MEKO og acetoneoxim, der er harmoniseret som Carc. 1B (formodet carcinogen for mennesker). For MPKO, MIBKO og cyclohexanonoxim, der bruges som alternative oximer for MEKO og acetonoxim, er der indtil videre ingen tilsvarende data, der kan begrunde en CLH-klassificering som carcinogen. Efter ind\u00e5nding af MEKO udviklede dyr leverkr\u00e6ft, og den enzymatiske vej kan ogs\u00e5 antages hos mennesker.       <\/p>\n<p><strong>I \u00f8jeblikket mangler der dokumentation for leverkr\u00e6ft hos mennesker baseret p\u00e5 MEKO-eksponering og en mulig latensperiode.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Hvad du kan g\u00f8re<\/h2>\n<p>Den mest effektive m\u00e5de at forhindre eksponering og potentiel leverkr\u00e6ft er substitution med sikrere, oximfrie alternativer. For Oximer i maling og lak kan alternative malingssystemer v\u00e6re en mulighed, f.eks. vandbaseret maling og akryl- eller polyuretansystemer (PU). Der findes alternative antihudmidler til opl\u00f8sningsmiddelbaserede malinger p\u00e5 markedet, og de indeholder aminforbindelser. Til silikoneforseglinger findes der oximefri alternativer som acetoxy-, benzamid-, amin-, alkoxy- og laktatestersystemer. Silikoneforseglingsmidler med alternative baser (f.eks. polyurethan eller silantermineret polymer (STP)) kan ogs\u00e5 anvendes. Hvor substitution af oximer ikke er mulig, og brug af oximer ikke kan undg\u00e5s, skal der tr\u00e6ffes foranstaltninger til at reducere eksponeringen. Den mest effektive m\u00e5de at undg\u00e5 eksponering p\u00e5 er at udvikle og bruge lukkede systemer. Hvor dette ikke er muligt, skal der implementeres tekniske foranstaltninger s\u00e5som effektiv lokal udsugning eller god ventilation af arbejdspladsen samt kontrol af deres effektivitet for at sikre, at eksponering for dampe med oximer fra maling eller fugemasse minimeres s\u00e5 meget som teknisk muligt.<br \/>\nGennemf\u00f8r regelm\u00e6ssige eksponeringsvurderinger for at kontrollere, om de eksisterende beskyttelsesforanstaltninger er effektive, eller om der skal tr\u00e6ffes yderligere foranstaltninger. Arbejderne skal v\u00e6re opm\u00e6rksomme p\u00e5 de potentielle virkninger af eksponering og b\u00f8r regelm\u00e6ssigt uddannes i de kontrolforanstaltninger, der er n\u00f8dvendige for at arbejde sikkert med Oximer for at forhindre eksponering. De b\u00f8r opfordres til at rapportere tidlige symptomer som svimmelhed, hudirritation og hudallergi. Det anbefales at inddrage en arbejdsmediciner. Desuden skal arbejderne uddannes i effektive hygiejneforanstaltninger.           <\/p>\n<p>S\u00f8rg for, at arbejderne har tilstr\u00e6kkelig personlig beskyttelse, f.eks. beskyttelsest\u00f8j og handsker, hvis det er n\u00f8dvendigt. Personlig beskyttelse (PPE) b\u00f8r kun bruges som en sidste udvej og kun overvejes midlertidigt, efter at de mulige tekniske l\u00f8sninger er udt\u00f8mt.
