Det antages, at foranstaltningerne til forebyggelse af eksponering for hexavalent krom under arbejdet ogs\u00e5 vil bidrage til at forebygge eksponering for andre farlige stoffer. <\/p>\n<h2>Hvad er risikoen?<\/h2>\n<p>Tidligere er maling\/bel\u00e6gninger, der indeholder hexavalent krom, blevet brugt til at konservere metaller, beton og tr\u00e6bygningsmaterialer. Hexavalente kromforbindelser kan frigives under behandlingen eller fjernelsen af disse bel\u00e6gninger fra genstande som broer\/bygningsingeni\u00f8rer, stationer og bygninger. <\/p>\n<p>Hexavalent krom er sundhedsskadeligt. Det kan for\u00e5rsage sygdomme som f.eks. kr\u00e6ft. Der er kun en risiko, n\u00e5r mennesker uds\u00e6ttes for hexavalent krom, f.eks. under arbejde<br \/>\nmed bel\u00e6gninger, der indeholder hexavalent krom. Sundhedsrisikoen stiger med eksponeringens intensitet og varighed.   <\/p>\n<h2>Ledelsesregime: arbejde i gang<\/h2>\n<p>Dette styringssystem foreskriver foranstaltninger til at forhindre eksponering for hexavalent krom under behandling eller fjernelse af bel\u00e6gninger. Ordningen er t\u00e6nkt som et arbejdsdokument, og den vil blive videreudviklet og underbygget af observationer i den kommende periode. <\/p>\n<p>Rijkswaterstaat (RWS), ProRail og Rijksvastgoedbedrijf (RVB) vil bruge den kommende tid til at indsamle m\u00e5ledata fra unders\u00f8gelser af udledning af hexavalent krom under<br \/>\nbehandling eller fjernelse af bel\u00e6gninger. Dette vil indeb\u00e6re en sammenligning af forskellige teknikker under forskellige forhold. Forskningsresultaterne kan f\u00f8re til \u00e6ndringer i foranstaltningerne i ledelsessystemet eller til, at teknikker tilf\u00f8jes som sikker arbejdspraksis.
