Det viste sig, at st\u00f8rstedelen af virksomhederne ikke fuldt ud udnyttede de mulige tekniske og organisatoriske foranstaltninger og dermed ikke opfyldte alle krav i den tyske bekendtg\u00f8relse om farlige stoffer (GefStoffV). I 2017 blev der foretaget yderligere m\u00e5linger i otte udvalgte virksomheder for at vise, hvordan god h\u00e5ndtering af RMM&#8217;er kan reducere eksponeringen for Trichlorethylen til mindst 1,3 mg\/m\u00b3 (8 timers Tidsv\u00e6gtet gennemsnit, 95. percentil).  <\/p>\n<h2>Hvad er Trichlorethylen?<\/h2>\n<p>Trichlorethylen (TCE, TRI) er et farvel\u00f8st, ikke-br\u00e6ndbart, men carcinogent halogencarbon, der i vid udstr\u00e6kning bruges som et effektivt industrielt opl\u00f8sningsmiddel til organiske materialer som olie, fedt og bitumen. Som rensemiddel erstattede det mindre farlige tetrachlorethylen sin strukturelle analog allerede i 1950&#8217;erne. <\/p>\n<p>I Tyskland er Trichlorethylen stadig officielt p\u00e5kr\u00e6vet ved asfalttest. Bitumenekstraktioner udf\u00f8res i s\u00e5kaldte asfaltanalysatorer. Selvom disse maskiner er lukkede systemer, er der mange trin under hele proceduren fra il\u00e6gning af asfaltpr\u00f8ven i asfaltanalysatorens vaskekammer til genvinding af bitumen ved roterende fordampning, hvor arbejderne kan blive udsat for Trichlorethylen, is\u00e6r via ind\u00e5nding.  <\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 grund af sin carcinogene, mutagene, nefrotoksiske og neurotoksiske natur er Trichlorethylen et meget problematisk stof, der er opf\u00f8rt p\u00e5 REACH&#8217;s autorisationsliste (bilag XIV). Den nuv\u00e6rende tilladelse (REACH\/18\/9\/4) giver downstream-brugere mulighed for at anvende stoffet under s\u00e6rlige omst\u00e6ndigheder som ekstraktionsmiddel i asfaltanalyser, men kun som beskrevet i leverand\u00f8rens ans\u00f8gning. Denne tilladelse udl\u00f8ber den 21. april 2023. Indtil da skal arbejdsgivere beskytte deres arbejdere i asfaltlaboratorier mod Trichlorethylen-dampe med foranstaltninger ud over de RMM&#8217;er, der er beskrevet af ans\u00f8geren.   <\/p>\n<h2>L\u00f8sning<\/h2>\n<p>Vores publikation<a href=\"https:\/\/rp-kassel.hessen.de\/sites\/rp-kassel.hessen.de\/files\/2022-11\/fachartikel_arbeitsplatzbelastungen_durch_trichloretheninderasphaltanalytik_beiumsetzungdesstandsdertechnik.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;Arbeitsplatzbelastungen durch Trichlorethen in der Asphaltanalytik bei Umsetzung des Stands der Technik<\/a>&#8221; opsummerer de n\u00f8dvendige RMM&#8217;er som vist nedenfor for effektivt at beskytte arbejdere i asfaltlaboratorier mod farerne ved Trichlorethylen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drift af asfaltlaboratoriet i henhold til kravene i TRGS (teknisk regel for farlige stoffer) 526 &#8220;Laboratorier&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Udf\u00f8relse af alle operationer og processer for Trichlorethylen i stinkskabe, som opfylder kravene i DIN EN 14175-2, eller i sammenlignelige tekniske installationer, som er blevet testet for deres effektivitet. Ud over asfaltanalysatoren og den roterende fordamper omfatter dette ogs\u00e5 bitumenvaskemaskinen og t\u00f8rrekassen. <\/li>\n<li>Beholdere med frisk s\u00e5vel som brugt Trichlorethylen skal opbevares i overensstemmelse med specifikationerne i TRGS 510 &#8220;Opbevaring af farlige stoffer i ikke-station\u00e6re beholdere&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Udf\u00f8relse af hj\u00e6lpearbejde med Trichlorethylen kan f\u00f8re til yderligere eksponering og kan dermed \u00f8ge baggrundsforureningen og er derfor ikke tilladt i henhold til disse regler.<\/li>\n<li>Hvis flere installationer betjenes i et stinkskab, skal dette stinkskab v\u00e6re udstyret med tilstr\u00e6kkeligt med skydere, s\u00e5 kun en del af fronten skal \u00e5bnes for at f\u00e5 adgang til den relevante enhed.<\/li>\n<li>Installation, tilslutning og betjening af asfaltanalysatoren og andet udstyr skal udf\u00f8res i henhold til specifikationerne i betjeningsvejledningen fra systemets producent.<\/li>\n<li>Tekniske eksperter skal udf\u00f8re \u00e5rlig inspektion og vedligeholdelse af asfaltanalysatoren.<\/li>\n<li>Stinkskabssystemet skal kontrolleres mindst en gang om \u00e5ret for funktion og effektivitet.<\/li>\n<li>For at fylde asfaltanalysatoren med frisk Trichlorethylen eller for at udtr\u00e6kke brugt Trichlorethylen og bitumen-Trichlorethylen-blandinger skal lager- eller affaldsbeholderne forbindes direkte til asfaltanalysatoren via en kobling, s\u00e5 p\u00e5fyldning og udtr\u00e6kning kan udf\u00f8res i et lukket kredsl\u00f8b.<\/li>\n<li>N\u00e5r bitumen Trichlorethylen-blandingen udvindes, skal opsamlingsbeholderen (normalt en rundbundet kolbe af glas) forbindes direkte med asfaltanalysatorens udl\u00f8bsventil via en t\u00e6t kobling. Dampfasen af Trichlorethylen f\u00f8res via et r\u00f8r enten ind i asfaltanalysatorens tank eller ind i affaldsbeholderen, hvor den ubrugte bitumen Trichlorethylen-blanding opsamles (gasfortr\u00e6ngningsprocedure). <\/li>\n<li>Den rundbundede kolbe, der indeholder blandingen af bitumen og Trichlorethylen, skal holdes lukket med en glasprop, ogs\u00e5 i stinkskabet.<\/li>\n<li>Trichlorethylen, der destilleres ud, n\u00e5r bitumen genvindes, f\u00f8res tilbage til asfaltanalysatoren via centrifugen.<\/li>\n<li>Bitumenforurenet arbejdsudstyr m\u00e5 ikke reng\u00f8res manuelt med Trichlorethylen. En lukket bitumenvaskemaskine, der betjenes i et stinkskab, skal anvendes, n\u00e5r Trichlorethylen anvendes. Der findes egnede reng\u00f8ringsmidler, f.eks. baseret p\u00e5 vegetabilske olieestere, til manuel reng\u00f8ring, som dog skal udf\u00f8res i stinkskabet.  <\/li>\n<li>Hvis de mineralske stoffer (tilslag og filler) t\u00f8rres i asfaltanalysatoren i flere k\u00f8rsler efter hovedekstraktionen, kan det heller ikke udelukkes, at de stadig indeholder rester af Trichlorethylen. For at undg\u00e5 eksponering for Trichlorethylen skal mineralske stoffer, der er ekstraheret i asfaltanalysatoren, forblive i stinkskabet, indtil de er afk\u00f8let. Yderligere t\u00f8rring kan ogs\u00e5 foretages i en opvarmet t\u00f8rreboks, som skal betjenes i samme stinkskab som udsugningssystemet.  <\/li>\n<li>Arbejdsoverflader inde i stinkskabet m\u00e5 heller ikke reng\u00f8res med Trichlorethylen. Der findes egnede reng\u00f8ringsmidler, f.eks. baseret p\u00e5 vegetabilske olieestere, til s\u00e5danne form\u00e5l. <\/li>\n<li>Asfaltdensiteten bestemmes ved kun at bruge vand.<\/li>\n<li>Egnede kemiske beskyttelseshandsker af fluorcarbon-gummi (FKM) skal b\u00e6res ved alt arbejde, der kan resultere i dermal eksponering for Trichlorethylen.<\/li>\n<li>Til risikofri bortskaffelse af udsivende Trichlorethylen skal der anvendes egnede kemiske bindemidler, arbejdsudstyr til at optage de kemiske bindemidler og forseglede affaldsbeholdere samt passende personlig beskyttelse (f.eks. de ovenn\u00e6vnte kemiske beskyttelseshandsker, \u00e5ndedr\u00e6tsv\u00e6rn i form af halvmasker med et klasse A-filter (til h\u00f8jtkogende organiske forbindelser) eller bl\u00e6serassisterede
