Kiilto OY udvikler og fremstiller kl\u00e6bemidler og relaterede produkter og systemer til alle former for bygge- og anl\u00e6gsvirksomhed, renovering og industrielle form\u00e5l og producerer reng\u00f8ringskemikalier. Kiilto bruger mange r\u00e5materialer, blandt andet et carcinogent stof (N-(hydroxymethyl)akrylamid), isocyanater og nogle mutagene og reproduktionsskadelige kemikalier. Kiilto har 200 arbejdere ansat, hvoraf ca. halvdelen er udsat for farlige kemikalier. <\/p>\n

Kiilto sigter mod at reducere arbejdernes eksponering for disse farlige stoffer veda) at fjerne farlige kemikalier fra fremstillingsprocessen (stoppe produktionen af opl\u00f8sningsmiddelbaserede kl\u00e6bemidler)
\nb) tekniske foranstaltninger (som f.eks. at bruge det carcinogene N-(hydroxymethyl)-akrylamid i et lukket system brug af ventilationssystemer og eksponeringsscenarier)
\nc) organisatoriske foranstaltninger (s\u00e5som en specifik proces til udv\u00e6lgelse af nye kemikalier, omfattende uddannelse af arbejdere med krav om, at alle arbejdere skal have et finsk
\nsikkerhedskort)
\nd) tilvejebringelse af personlig beskyttelse (PPE) (med klare anbefalinger).<\/p>\n
