Dit erhverv indeb\u00e6rer direkte eksponering for carcinogene stoffer p\u00e5 grund af karakteren af dit svejsearbejde og de materialer, du bruger i metalindustrien. <\/p>\n<p>Risici for carcinogener ved svejsning og fabrikation stammer prim\u00e6rt fra eksponering for svejser\u00f8g og gasser, der dannes under svejseprocessen. Disse dampe indeholder forskellige farlige stoffer, herunder metaloxider, gasser og partikler, hvoraf nogle er carcinogene. Svejser\u00f8g kan f.eks. indeholde carcinogene metaller som hexavalent krom, nikkel og mangan.  <\/p>\n<p>For at mindske disse risici b\u00f8r svejsere og fabrikanter prioritere sikkerhedsforanstaltninger og overholde bedste praksis i deres arbejdsmilj\u00f8. Dette omfatter brug af lokale udsugningssystemer og arbejde i velventilerede omr\u00e5der, der kan hj\u00e6lpe med at reducere koncentrationen af svejser\u00f8g i arbejdsomr\u00e5det.
