Nye, billige sensorer kan hj\u00e6lpe med at besvare disse sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l. Forskere ved TNO i Holland unders\u00f8ger brugen af sensorer til forskellige skadelige stoffer som f.eks. svejser\u00f8g, st\u00f8v fra h\u00e5rdt tr\u00e6 og silica. De har for nylig udgivet en retningslinje kaldet     <\/strong><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><em><strong>Sensorer til m\u00e5ling af partikler p\u00e5 arbejdspladsen<\/strong><\/em><strong><em>.<\/em><\/strong><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sander Ruiter, en af forskerne ved TNO, forklarer, hvorfor sensorer er s\u00e5 godt et v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j til at m\u00e5le eksponering for stoffer: &#8220;Traditionelle m\u00e5lesystemer bruger filtre, der opsamler st\u00f8v eller partikler i et par timer eller en hel arbejdsdag. Pr\u00f8verne sendes derefter til et laboratorium for at blive analyseret, og du modtager resultaterne et par uger senere. Sensorer er nemmere at bruge og billigere, da man ikke har brug for et laboratorium. De kan ogs\u00e5 m\u00e5le i realtid. Du kan f.eks. se, om der var et peak i eksponeringen kl. 11 i fem minutter. Med filtre ville man kun kende det gennemsnitlige eksponeringsniveau over hele m\u00e5leperioden. Med sensorer f\u00e5r du resultater med det samme og kan lettere spore, hvad en arbejder lavede i det \u00f8jeblik.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sensorer vil helt sikkert forbedre de muligheder, vi har, f.eks. ved at g\u00f8re det muligt at implementere kontrolforanstaltninger i det \u00f8jeblik, eksponeringen sker (kaldet risikostyring i realtid). Der er dog ogs\u00e5 nogle mulige forbedringer. TNO&#8217;s forskning viser, at sensorer giver konsistente og korrekte resultater for m\u00e5linger over tid, men &#8211; som alle m\u00e5lesystemer &#8211; har de en vis usikkerhed (se figuren nedenfor). Denne usikkerhed er forskellig for hvert stof. Sander forklarer: &#8220;I \u00f8jeblikket forsker vi i svejser\u00f8g. Vi vil gerne kende den n\u00f8jagtige usikkerhed og kalibrere sensorerne til dette stof i h\u00e5b om, at de kalibrerede sensorer kan bruges til overensstemmelsestest. Det er en stor fordel i forhold til det filterbaserede system, som typisk kun bruges til ca. fem m\u00e5linger om \u00e5ret for hele virksomheden p\u00e5 grund af de store analyseomkostninger. Det er meningen, at det skal repr\u00e6sentere alle arbejdere, men det g\u00f8r det ofte ikke.&#8221; <\/p>\n<h2>Retningslinjer for sensorer til m\u00e5ling af partikler p\u00e5 arbejdspladsen<\/h2>\n<p>TNO har udgivet en vejledning, der findes p\u00e5 engelsk og hollandsk, for at hj\u00e6lpe arbejdshygiejnikere med at bruge billige sensorer til partikler (PM) korrekt.
