Trichlorethylen wird in Qualit\u00e4tskontrolllabors zur Bestimmung des Bitumenanteils in Asphaltmischungen verwendet. Bitumen ist eine gef\u00e4hrliche Substanz, deren Eliminierung oder Substitution durch eine weniger gef\u00e4hrliche Chemikalie eine Priorit\u00e4t f\u00fcr Gesundheit und Sicherheit ist. Die Eliminierung von Trichlorethylen aus dem Prozess erfolgt durch einen kleinen Muffelofen, der das Asphaltmischgut bei der Verdampfungstemperatur f\u00fcr Bitumen verbrennt. Dieses Verfahren erleichtert die Berechnung des Bitumenanteils im Mischgut auf der Grundlage der Gewichtsdifferenz.
