Me\u0111utim, upotreba diklorometana od tada je zna\u010dajno ograni\u010dena (Uredba REACH, Direktiva o vodi za pi\u0107e). <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Trenutne procjene profesionalne izlo\u017eenosti diklorometanu u EU nisu dostupne. Glavni putovi izlo\u017eenosti na radnom mjestu su di\u0161ni put i ko\u017ea. Diklorometan ima uskla\u0111enu klasifikaciju prema CLP-u kao kancerogena kategorija 2. IARC klasificira tvar kao karcinogen skupine 2A (vjerojatno kancerogen za ljude). Sumnja se da diklorometan uzrokuje rak gu\u0161tera\u010de, plu\u0107a i jetre.    <\/p>\n<h2>Gdje se javljaju rizici<\/h2>\n<p>Diklorometan se prvenstveno koristi kao sredstvo za odstranjivanje boje, odma\u0161\u0107iva\u010d, potisni plin, rashladno sredstvo i otapalo za ekstrakciju. Vrlo je hlapljiv, otapa mnoge organske tvari i stoga se koristi i kao otapalo za smole, masti, plastiku i bitumen. Tako\u0111er slu\u017ei kao ljepilo za posebne primjene (akrilno staklo, polistiren).  <\/p>\n<p>Diklorometan je vrlo hlapljiv, \u0161to zna\u010di da se pri upotrebi na velikoj povr\u0161ini visoke koncentracije mogu brzo nakupiti u zraku i udisati. Tijekom takvih primjena velikih razmjera, poput odma\u0161\u0107ivanja ili lijepljenja (plasti\u010dnih) povr\u0161ina, visoke koncentracije diklorometana i dalje se mogu pojaviti u udahnutom zraku. Izlo\u017eenost visokog intenziteta mogu\u0107a je za radnike koji koriste sredstva za odma\u0161\u0107ivanje boje (gra\u0111evinska industrija, renovacija) i tijekom zadataka poput \u010di\u0161\u0107enja spremnika, odma\u0161\u0107ivanja, odr\u017eavanja zatvorenih prostora. Izlo\u017eenost srednjeg intenziteta tipi\u010dna je u kemijskoj proizvodnji, farmaceutskoj proizvodnji i formuliranju otapala, dok se izlo\u017eenost niskog intenziteta mo\u017ee o\u010dekivati \u200b\u200bu analiti\u010dkim, istra\u017eiva\u010dkim i zdravstvenim laboratorijima, za laboratorijsko osoblje i u farmaceutskoj industriji (sredstva za ekstrakciju) te pri provo\u0111enju tretmana plasti\u010dnih povr\u0161ina sredstvima za odma\u0161\u0107ivanje i ljepilima.   <\/p>\n<h2>Vi\u0161e o supstanci<\/h2>\n<p>Diklorometan je alifatski, zasi\u0107eni halogenirani ugljikovodik koji je u svom \u010distom obliku bezbojna teku\u0107ina mirisa sli\u010dnog kloroformu. Ima nisko vreli\u0161te od 40 \u00b0C i tlak pare od 470 hPa (na 20 \u00b0C) te je vrlo hlapljiv. Kada se koriste proizvodi koji sadr\u017ee diklormetan, otprilike 85 % tvari ispu\u0161ta se u okoli\u0161. U normalnim uvjetima upotrebe diklormetan nije zapaljiv; me\u0111utim, mo\u017ee postojati rizik od eksplozije u zatvorenim spremnicima.   <\/p>\n<p>Zbog ograni\u010denja upotrebe prema Uredbi REACH, sredstva za odstranjivanje boje koja sadr\u017ee vi\u0161e od 0,1% te\u017einskog udjela diklorometana smiju se komercijalno koristiti samo od strane posebno obu\u010denog osoblja. Izgaranjem diklorometana mo\u017ee nastati plinoviti, vrlo otrovni fosgen. <\/p>\n<h2>Opasnosti koje se mogu pojaviti<\/h2>\n<p>Ako se tvar apsorbira u teku\u0107em obliku, npr. kroz ko\u017eu, prvenstveno utje\u010de na sredi\u0161nji \u017eiv\u010dani sustav i uzrokuje simptome poput glavobolje, vrtoglavice, mu\u010dnine, utrnulosti i smanjene koncentracije. U tijelu se diklormetan pretvara u ugljikov monoksid, \u0161to uzrokuje trovanje ugljikovim monoksidom. Mo\u017ee do\u0107i i do iritacije di\u0161nih putova i o\u010diju, gubitka apetita, slabe koncentracije i umora.  <\/p>\n<p>Dugotrajni kontakt s ko\u017eom dovodi do razgradnje masnog tkiva, \u0161to uzrokuje osip i svrbe\u017e ko\u017ee. Pare diklorometana te\u017ee su od zraka i stoga se nakupljaju blizu tla. Udisanje para mo\u017ee uzrokovati o\u0161te\u0107enje vidnog \u017eivca i jetre (hepatitis).  <\/p>\n<p>Najrelevantniji u\u010dinak dugotrajne izlo\u017eenosti je karcinogenost. Sumnja se da diklorometan uzrokuje rak gu\u0161tera\u010de, plu\u0107a i jetre. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Latentni period za razvoj raka nakon izlaganja diklorometanu mo\u017ee trajati od 20 do 30 godina.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>\u0160to mo\u017eete u\u010diniti<\/h2>\n<p>Prije svega, trebali biste provjeriti mogu li se proizvodi koji sadr\u017ee diklorometan zamijeniti manje opasnim ili neopasnim alternativama. Postoji \u0161irok raspon alternativnih proizvoda, posebno za upotrebu kao pogonsko gorivo. Ako nije dostupna zamjena, moraju se provesti odgovaraju\u0107e zdravstvene i sigurnosne mjere, posebno za primjenu u velikim razmjerima, kako bi se za\u0161titili izlo\u017eeni radnici. Pare se moraju hvatati i usisavati na izvoru ili blizu tla pomo\u0107u sustava za ekstrakciju. Broj izlo\u017eenih osoba i trajanje izlo\u017eenosti moraju se svesti na minimum. Izlo\u017eeni radnici moraju se redovito, na razumljiv na\u010din, informirati o rizicima diklorometana i provedbi za\u0161titnih mjera. Nakon \u0161to se iscrpe sve spomenute mjere, unos diklorometana u tijelo mo\u017ee se dodatno smanjiti upotrebom odgovaraju\u0107e osobne za\u0161titne opreme (OZO) i radne odje\u0107e. OZO i radna odje\u0107a moraju se mo\u0107i higijenski \u010distiti i skladi\u0161titi.
