Za aktivnosti koje uklju\u010duju olovo i spojeve olova, treba napomenuti da je samo dio individualne izlo\u017eenosti radnika uzrokovan udisanjem olovne pra\u0161ine i olovnih isparenja. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Zna\u010dajan dio izlo\u017eenosti mo\u017ee biti uzrokovan oralnim unosom putem kontakta ruku i usta zbog lo\u0161e higijene. Dominantni zdravstveni rizik od olova i anorganskih spojeva olova je reproduktivni toksi\u010dni u\u010dinak. Osim toga, izlo\u017eenost olovu povezana je s pove\u0107anim rizikom od raka plu\u0107a, \u017eeluca i mokra\u0107nog mjehura u raznim ljudskim populacijama. Najja\u010di epidemiolo\u0161ki dokazi su za rak plu\u0107a i \u017eeluca, koji su dosljedno, ali slabo povezani sa zanimanjima i industrijama koje uklju\u010duju izlo\u017eenost olovu. Olovo je od strane IARC-a klasificirano kao karcinogen skupine 2B, \u0161to zna\u010di da je vjerojatno kancerogeno za ljude.    <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div title=\"Stranica 1\">\n<h2>Gdje se javljaju rizici<\/h2>\n<p>Olovni isparenja nastaju tijekom obrade metala kada se metal zagrijava ili lemi. Olovna pra\u0161ina nastaje kada se metal re\u017ee ili kada se olovna boja brusi ili uklanja toplinskim pi\u0161toljem. Olovni isparenja i olovna pra\u0161ina nemaju miris, pa mo\u017eda ne\u0107ete ni znati da ste im izlo\u017eeni. Olovo i anorganski spojevi olova koriste se u mnogim industrijama. U svakoj od ovih industrija radnici su u opasnosti od izlo\u017eenosti olovu udisanjem ili apsorpcijom u tijelo zbog lo\u0161e osobne higijene.      <\/p>\n<h2>Vi\u0161e o supstanci<\/h2>\n<p>Olovo je prirodni plavkasto-sivi te\u0161ki metal koji se u malim koli\u010dinama pojavljuje u Zemljinoj kori. Mo\u017ee se koristiti kao \u010disti metal, u kombinaciji s drugim metalom za stvaranje legure ili u obliku kemijskog spoja. Olovo se uglavnom koristi za olovno-kiselinske akumulatore u motornim vozilima, koji koriste gotovo \u010distu olovnu leguru.  <\/p>\n<p>Olovo se tako\u0111er mo\u017ee koristiti u proizvodnji streljiva, metalnih proizvoda (lem i cijevi) i ure\u0111aja za za\u0161titu od rendgenskih zraka. Iz zdravstvenih razloga, upotreba olova u bojama i kerami\u010dkim proizvodima, kitovima i lemovima u cijevima drasti\u010dno je smanjena posljednjih godina. <\/p>\n<h2>Opasnosti koje se mogu pojaviti<\/h2>\n<p>Olovo ulazi u krv kroz plu\u0107a, gdje mo\u017ee o\u0161tetiti mnoge organske sustave u tijelu. Zdravstveni u\u010dinci kratkotrajne prekomjerne izlo\u017eenosti olovu mogu varirati od bolova u trbuhu do glavobolja i umora. Dugotrajna izlo\u017eenost olovu mo\u017ee dovesti do bolova u trbuhu, depresije, mu\u010dnine, sr\u010danih bolesti, bolesti bubrega i problema s plodno\u0161\u0107u. Stoga olovo predstavlja prekoncepcijsku prijetnju nero\u0111enoj djeci kod svake \u017eene u reproduktivnoj dobi koja je bila izlo\u017eena olovu. <\/p>\n<h2>\u0160to mo\u017eete u\u010diniti<\/h2>\n<p>Naju\u010dinkovitiji na\u010din sprje\u010davanja izlo\u017eenosti je zamjena proizvodima bez olova ili s ni\u017eim udjelom olova. Ako se proizvodi koji sadr\u017ee olovo ne mogu zamijeniti, obu\u010dite radnike o opasnostima, sigurnim radnim praksama i u\u010dinkovitim higijenskim mjerama. Koristite odgovaraju\u0107e in\u017eenjerske kontrole kako biste osigurali da je radno podru\u010dje dobro prozra\u010deno. Jedenje i\/ili pi\u0107e smije se odvijati samo u podru\u010djima gdje se ne rukuje ili ne prera\u0111uju proizvodi koji sadr\u017ee olovo, te treba osigurati odgovaraju\u0107i postupak \u010di\u0161\u0107enja kao i objekte za dekontaminaciju. Kontinuirano provodite ispravna mjerenja izlo\u017eenosti kako bi se znalo kada treba poduzeti mjere. Istra\u017eite prijavljuju li radnici rane simptome. Osigurajte da radnici imaju odgovaraju\u0107u osobnu za\u0161titnu opremu, kao \u0161to su za\u0161titne nao\u010dale, prikladna za\u0161tita za disanje, za\u0161titna odje\u0107a i rukavice, ako je potrebno. U nekim slu\u010dajevima mo\u017ee biti potreban respirator.
