Natrijev dikromat koji se u po\u010detku isporu\u010divao i s kojim se rukovalo kao s \u010distom tvari zamijenjen je vodenom otopinom primljenom u rasutom stanju. Ova otopina se skladi\u0161ti u spremniku i rukuje se samo u zatvorenoj petlji uz pomo\u0107 automatskog sustava kako bi se smanjilo otvaranje ciklusa. Na taj se na\u010din sve operacije odvijaju u zatvorenom sustavu od skladi\u0161tenja do reakcije, \u010dime se minimizira otvaranje ciklusa i izlo\u017eenost radnika. Sirovina se istovaruje iz cisterne samo jednom svake 3 godine, prema detaljnom i kontroliranom postupku istovara, a aktivnosti odr\u017eavanja provode se pod strogo kontroliranim uvjetima.    <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Vi\u0161e rje\u0161enja tvrtke Dow Group Italy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Dow Group u Italiji proizvodi \u0161irok asortiman kemijskih proizvoda. Neke proizvodnje zahtijevaju upotrebu kancerogenih tvari. Visoka i stalna pa\u017enja tvrtke prema zdravlju svojih radnika i okoli\u0161u bila je poticaj za pobolj\u0161anje procesa i operativnih postupaka u kojima su te tvari uklju\u010dene.  <\/p>\n<p>Sljede\u0107a tri slu\u010daja su primjeri najboljih praksi za pobolj\u0161anje procesa (prvi slu\u010daj) ili rukovanja kancerogenim sirovinama (drugi i tre\u0107i slu\u010daj) kako bi se smanjila potencijalna izlo\u017eenost radnika:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SLU\u010cAJ 1: <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/hr\/good-practice\/upotreba-12-dikloretana-edc-u-strogo-kontroliranim-uvjetima\/\">Upotreba 1,2-dikloretana (EDC) u strogo kontroliranim uvjetima<\/a><\/li>\n<li>SLU\u010cAJ 2: Kori\u0161tenje vodene otopine umjesto \u010diste \u010dvrste tvari (trenutni slu\u010daj)<\/li>\n<li>SLU\u010cAJ 3: <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/hr\/good-practice\/suhe-rastavljajuce-spojnice-koje-se-koriste-za-istovar-opasnog-materijala-iz-cestovnih-rasutih-i-mini-rasutih-ibc-kontejnera\/\">Suhe rastavljaju\u0107e spojnice koje se koriste za istovar opasnog materijala iz cestovnih rasutih i mini rasutih tereta \/ IBC kontejnera<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Rezultati<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Potpuna provedba ovih najboljih praksi imala je va\u017ean utjecaj na mjesta na kojima su primijenjene. Sve one, unato\u010d \u010dinjenici da su problemi bili razli\u010diti, a rje\u0161enja, o\u010dito, razli\u010dita, imale su zajedni\u010dki rezultat: u\u010dinkovito smanjenje izlo\u017eenosti radnika kancerogenim tvarima. Prvi slu\u010daj je primjer slo\u017eene dobre prakse koja tako\u0111er pobolj\u0161ava proizvodni proces i kori\u0161tenje sirovina. Druga dobra praksa omogu\u0107ila je uklanjanje rukovanja krutim kancerogenim tvarima i umecima koji rade u zatvorenom ciklusu. Tre\u0107i slu\u010daj je zanimljiva dobra praksa za smanjenje izlo\u017eenosti koja se mo\u017ee lako usvojiti u rukovanju opasnim materijalima op\u0107enito.
