In un’azienda produttrice di calzature situata nella regione di La Rioja, in Spagna, venivano utilizzati due solventi per la concia delle pelli destinate alla produzione di scarpe. La sostituzione \u00e8 stata effettuata perch\u00e9 diversi lavoratori erano affetti da una serie di problemi di salute che includevano vomito, vertigini e mal di testa.<\/p>\n

I sintomi pi\u00f9 allarmanti sono stati le crisi epilettiche di cui hanno sofferto due lavoratori dopo 10 ore di lavoro continuo con i solventi in un processo di concia.<\/p>\n

I prodotti pericolosi sono stati sostituiti da un solvente il cui unico componente nocivo \u00e8 l’acetone. L’azienda ha anche deciso di ordinare pelle preconciata per ridurre l’uso di prodotti chimici.
