Het is echter ook een essenti\u00eble eerste stap bij het beoordelen van gezondheidsrisico&#8217;s en het stellen van prioriteiten voor het vervangen van gevaarlijke stoffen door veiligere alternatieven.<\/p>\n<h2>Een praktische sectorbrede oplossing<\/h2>\n<p>Om de tijd, kosten en expertise die nodig zijn voor de registratie van gevaarlijke stoffen te verminderen, zocht Volandis \u2014 het kennis- en adviescentrum van de sociale partners in de Nederlandse bouwsector \u2014 naar een praktische oplossing waarmee bouwbedrijven producten collectief en met minimale inspanning kunnen registreren.<\/p>\n<h2>Hoe de assistent werkt<\/h2>\n<p>Met input van Volandis en ArboTechniek, de tegenhanger in de installatietechniek, is de Schadelijke Stoffen Assistent (SSA) ontwikkeld door Chemrade, een bestaand platform voor stoffenregistratie en blootstellingsmodellering. De SSA biedt bedrijven toegang tot een gedeelde, sectorbrede database met veiligheidsinformatiebladen. Bedrijven kunnen de bladen selecteren die relevant zijn voor hun eigen situatie, waardoor dubbel werk wordt voorkomen en de consistentie in de sector wordt verbeterd. Wanneer een veiligheidsinformatieblad voor de eerste keer wordt aangevraagd, voert Chemrade de relevante informatie in de database in, wat helpt om een hoogwaardige en betrouwbare registratie te garanderen.<\/p>\n<h2>Breder potentieel<\/h2>\n<p>De SSA is nu ook buiten de bouwsector beschikbaar en heeft het potentieel om een breder platform te worden voor de ondersteuning van een effectief gezondheidsbeleid op het gebied van gevaarlijke stoffen.
