Er is een grote kans op blootstelling aan gevaarlijke stoffen bij laswerkzaamheden. <\/p>\n<p>Deze leidraad is ontwikkeld voor nationale arbeidsinspecteurs (NLI), met als doel het vertrouwen van inspecteurs in het aanpakken en reguleren van gezondheidsrisico&#8217;s van laswerkzaamheden en blootstelling aan lasrook te vergroten en daarmee de effectiviteit van NLI-interventies te verbeteren, voornamelijk in de productiesector en andere sectoren zoals de bouw. De gezondheid van werknemers is net zo belangrijk als hun veiligheid. De belangrijkste ambitie van de SLIC CHEMEX WG is om richtlijnen te verschaffen die NLI&#8217;s ondersteunen bij het aanpakken van de gezondheidsrisico&#8217;s voor werknemers die gepaard gaan met lasactiviteiten op de werkplekken in Europa, net zo vakkundig als ze de veiligheidsrisico&#8217;s zouden aanpakken.
