De smeerkoelende emulsie bevatte stoffen die gevaarlijk waren voor zowel de menselijke gezondheid als het milieu, waaronder CMR&#8217;s en VOC&#8217;s. Een van de stoffen was formaldehyde, dat geclassificeerd is als kankerverwekkend en sensibiliserend. Een van de stoffen was formaldehyde, dat geclassificeerd is als carcinogeen en sensibiliserend.  <\/p>\n<p>Het bedrijf wilde deze stoffen geleidelijk uitbannen. Daarom veranderden ze het oppervlakteslijpsysteem en moderniseerden ze de bestaande slijpcyclus. <\/p>\n<p>Er werden nieuwe slijpcomponenten gekocht en ge\u00efnstalleerd en de emulsie met slijpmiddelen werd vervangen. De nieuwe apparatuur maakt het mogelijk om zonder gevaarlijke stoffen te werken.
