{"id":23207,"date":"2023-07-26T11:11:58","date_gmt":"2023-07-26T11:11:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/good-practice\/alternatieven-voor-kobaltdrogers-voor-verf\/"},"modified":"2025-09-04T10:54:43","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T10:54:43","slug":"alternatieven-voor-kobaltdrogers-voor-verf","status":"publish","type":"good-practice","link":"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/nl\/good-practice\/alternatieven-voor-kobaltdrogers-voor-verf\/","title":{"rendered":"Alternatieven voor kobaltdrogers voor verf"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Organische zouten van kobalt zijn zeer effectief als verfdroogmiddel, maar de toenemende bezorgdheid over de mogelijke gevaren van kobaltverbindingen heeft producenten ertoe aangezet om op zoek te gaan naar alternatieve oplossingen.<br \/>\nMangaandrogers vormen momenteel het belangrijkste alternatief voor kobalt, met hun hoge droogkracht, die echter lager is dan die van kobalt. Hun belangrijkste nadeel is de bruine verkleuring en vergeling van witte en lichtgekleurde verven. Mangaan geeft een langere droogtijd maar een betere filmhardheid in vergelijking met drogers op basis van kobalt.  <\/p>\n<p>Een alternatief voorbeeld kan mangaanbis(2-ethylhexanoaat) zijn, dat nafteenzuren en kobaltzouten (kobaltnaftenaat) als droger kan vervangen. Soortgelijke zouten (octoaten\/ethylhexanoaten, naftenaten) van metalen zoals ijzer of vanadium kunnen ook als alternatief worden gebruikt. <\/p>\n<p>Bovendien kunnen drogers worden gebruikt met alifatische esters van oliezuur en linolzuur met een lage keten (niet geclassificeerd als giftig of als VOS) in plaats van de gebruikelijke alifatische of aromatische
