Bouwmaterialen zijn de belangrijkste bron van formaldehyde-emissies in het binnenmilieu. <\/p>\n<p>Daarom is het noodzakelijk om nieuwe natuurlijke alternatieven te vinden voor de productie van houtlijmen.<\/p>\n<p>Dit project maakte het mogelijk om een extractieproces voor tannines, gebaseerd op waterige extractie, en lignine te ontwikkelen en te valideren. Deze ge\u00ebxtraheerde verbindingen werden met succes toegevoegd aan lijmen om een formule zonder formaldehyde te ontwikkelen. De mechanische eigenschappen van de met deze nieuwe lijm geproduceerde plaat voldeden aan de Europese norm.
