De gids is van toepassing op activiteiten of werkplekken waar werknemers worden blootgesteld aan dieselmotoremissies en vormt de basis voor handhaving door de Nederlandse Arbeidsautoriteit.<\/p>\n<h2>De Gids<\/h2>\n<p>De gids bevat bepaalde vragen en antwoorden over:<\/p>\n<p>1. Hoe gevaar herkennen<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kunnen werknemers worden blootgesteld aan de uitstoot van dieselmotoren?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. Risico&#8217;s beoordelen op basis van de maatregelen<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is vervanging technisch haalbaar?<\/li>\n<li>Zijn er aan de bron maatregelen genomen om de DME-emissies te beperken?<\/li>\n<li>Zijn er andere maatregelen genomen om de blootstelling aan DME te beperken?<\/li>\n<li>Is de blootstelling aan DME beoordeeld?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Het laatste deel van de gids verwijst naar de juridische aspecten van DME met een tabel met handhavingsinstructies.<\/p>\n<h2>Over dieselmotoremissies<\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Dieselmotoremissies zijn geclassificeerd als genotoxische carcinogenen.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Dit betekent dat elk<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">niveau van blootstelling aan dieselmotoremissies een gezondheidsrisico inhoudt.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Dieselmotoremissies worden <\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">gevormd tijdens de verbranding van dieselolie in motoren.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Blootstelling hieraan kan<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">plaatsvinden bij het gebruik van dieselmotoren in een afgesloten ruimte of buiten wanneer werkzaamheden moeten worden uitgevoerd in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van de plaats waar de emissies vrijkomen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Om de technisch uitvoerbare maatregelen te beschrijven, bevat deze instructie:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">De arbocatalogus van de mobiliteitssector<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">De Duitse TRGS 554, &#8216;Abgase von Dieselmotoren&#8217; (januari 2019)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> &#8220;A-blad Dieselmotoremissie (DME)&#8221;, versie<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">2018, uitgegeven door Volandis.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Dit A-blad bevat de afspraken die werkgevers en werknemers in de bouw hebben gemaakt met betrekking tot het beheersen van de blootstelling aan dieselmotoremissies, rekening houdend met de stand van de wetenschap en professionele dienstverlening.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>RoC informatieblad<\/h2>\n<p>De Roadmap on Carcinogens heeft een volledige factsheet over de uitstoot\/uitlaatgassen van dieselmotoren.
