Bedrijven die deze stoffen gebruiken, zoeken actief naar veiligere alternatieven (minder gevaarlijke stoffen, nieuwe technologie\u00ebn en processen) en rapporteren over deze alternatieven. Hieronder vindt u informatie over mogelijke alternatieven voor chroomtrioxide in de verschillende autorisatieaanvragen die ECHA tot nu toe heeft ontvangen. Het materiaal op basis van FANS is momenteel nog geen aanvaard alternatief voor alle klanten van de downstreamgebruiker van de autorisatiehouder of voor al hun producten, vooral in de automobielsector.
