Bedrijven die deze stoffen gebruiken, zoeken actief naar veiligere alternatieven (minder gevaarlijke stoffen, nieuwe technologie\u00ebn en processen) en rapporteren over deze alternatieven. Hieronder vindt u informatie over mogelijke alternatieven voor chroomtrioxide in de verschillende autorisatieaanvragen die ECHA tot nu toe heeft ontvangen. Voor meer informatie volgt u de link naar het volledige dossier.<br \/>\nHieronder vindt u mogelijke alternatieven voor chroom(VI)trioxide voor het passiveren van ETP. Alle alternatieven verwijzen naar het hieronder beschreven chroom(VI)trioxide.    <\/p>\n<h2>Chroomtrioxide<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EG-nummer<\/strong>: 215-607-8<\/li>\n<li><strong>CAS-nummer<\/strong>: 1333-82-0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gebruik<\/strong>: Gebruik van chroom(VI)trioxide voor ETP.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technische functie<\/strong>: Cr(VI) wordt gebruikt voor het passiveren van het oppervlak van vertind blik, waarbij een Cr(III)oxidelaag wordt gevormd die corrosie tegengaat en zorgt voor een oppervlak dat geschikt is voor verdere verwerking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Meest veelbelovende alternatief:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alternatieve technologie: CFPA - Alternatief voor chroomvrije passivering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Andere alternatieven:<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Verschillende (groepen) bedrijven hebben onderzoek gedaan naar mogelijke alternatieven om chroomtrioxide te vervangen.
