Deze stoffen komen vrij bij de verbranding van de brandstof in de motor. Gevaarlijke stoffen waarvan bekend is dat ze deel uitmaken van de uitstoot zijn: koolmonoxide, stikstofoxide, dieselmotoremissie (roetdeeltjes), koolwaterstof, aldehyde en kooldioxide. Het is bekend dat de uitstoot van dieselmotoren effect heeft op de algehele gezondheid en de kans op longkanker vergroot. Hoewel bekend is dat de uitstoot van dieselmotoren kankerverwekkend is, is er in veel landen geen grenswaarde. Hoewel de overheden zich bewust zijn van de risico&#8217;s, adviseren ze de bedrijven in hun land alleen om &#8216;de uitstoot zo laag mogelijk te houden&#8217;.       <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Oplossing<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">In de meeste landen zijn er geen grenswaarden voor de uitstoot van dieselmotoren, maar Duitsland vormt hierop een uitzondering. Zij hebben een grenswaarde voor DME ingevoerd die leidt tot minder uitstoot en schonere motoren.   <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Resultaat<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">De beperking van de uitstoot van dieselmotoren leidt op lange termijn tot een betere volksgezondheid en een vermindering van het aantal kankergevallen.
