Om de juiste informatie naar werknemers te krijgen die op locatie werken, ontwikkelde deze facilitaire en technische dienstverlener de Stoffenscanner. Hiermee krijgen technische specialisten toegang tot de belangrijkste informatie over de stoffen waarmee ze werken. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Belichting op locatie<\/strong><\/h2>\n

De technisch specialisten van Facilicom werken in verschillende functies en op het werk kunnen ze worden blootgesteld aan allerlei gevaarlijke stoffen. Het is belangrijk dat werknemers zich bewust zijn van de risico’s van gevaarlijke stoffen en dat ze weten welke maatregelen ze moeten nemen. <\/p>\n

De blootstelling aan en de hoeveelheid gevaarlijke stoffen verschilt echter per specialisme. Er is een stoffenoverzicht, maar dit wordt nauwelijks gebruikt omdat het register op locatie moeilijk door te bladeren is. Ook de veiligheidsbladen blijken te complex. <\/p>\n

Een ander probleem is dat het stoffenregister onvoldoende actuele informatie bevat over de toepassing van gevaarlijke stoffen in de praktijk. De maatregelen per type stof zijn niet duidelijk. Bovendien kopen technici regelmatig zelf stoffen voor taken op locatie. Het is niet duidelijk welke stoffen wel of niet aan te raden zijn. <\/p>\n

Oplossingen<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Een app maakt het mogelijk om eenvoudig de barcode van een stof te scannen. De Stoffenscanner laat direct zien of de stof wordt herkend. Zo ja, dan wordt een kort overzicht van de belangrijkste informatie getoond: <\/p>\n

    \n
  • Naam<\/li>\n
  • Of het een CRM stof is (carcinogeen, mutageen, reprotoxisch)<\/li>\n
  • Risico’s<\/li>\n
  • Welke Persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen zijn vereist?<\/li>\n
  • Een link naar het veiligheidsblad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Als de stof niet wordt herkend, kan de werknemer dit doorgeven aan de SHE-afdeling, die het register vult. Facilicom streeft ernaar om in de toekomst informatie over noodmaatregelen toe te voegen. <\/p>\n

    Resultaat<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    De Stoffenscanner geeft eenvoudig toegang tot informatie over het werken met gevaarlijke stoffen. Het biedt snelle toegang tot informatie en preventieve maatregelen. <\/p>\n

    Toekomst<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Facilicom ziet mogelijkheden om de app voor meer mensen toegankelijk te maken. Andere bedrijven die hun mensen op locatie inzetten zouden er gebruik van kunnen maken. Het kan bijvoorbeeld geleverd worden door sectoren.
