Kiilto OY ontwikkelt en produceert lijmen en aanverwante producten en systemen voor allerlei bouw-, renovatie- en industri\u00eble doeleinden en produceert reinigingschemicali\u00ebn. Kiilto gebruikt tal van grondstoffen, waaronder een carcinogene stof (N-(hydroxymethyl)acrylamide), isocyanaten en een aantal mutagene en reproductieve chemicali\u00ebn. Kiilto heeft 200 werknemers in dienst waarvan ongeveer de helft wordt blootgesteld aan gevaarlijke chemicali\u00ebn. <\/p>\n

Kiilto wil de blootstelling van werknemers aan deze gevaarlijke stoffen verminderen door a) het elimineren van gevaarlijke chemicali\u00ebn uit het productieproces (stoppen van de productie van kleefmiddelen op basis van oplosmiddelen)
\nb) technische maatregelen (zoals het gebruik van het carcinogeen N-(hydroxymethyl)acrylamide in een gesloten systeem, gebruik van ventilatiesystemen en blootstellingsscenario’s)
\nc) organisatorische maatregelen (zoals een specifiek proces voor de selectie van nieuwe chemicali\u00ebn, uitgebreide training voor werknemers met de eis dat alle werknemers een Finse Occupational
\nSafety Card moeten hebben)
\nd) het verstrekken van persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PPE) (met duidelijke aanbevelingen).<\/p>\n
