Het Comit\u00e9 van hoge functionarissen van de arbeidsinspectie van de Europese Commissie (SLIC) heeft op donderdag 27 oktober 2016 in Den Haag zijn leidraad voor nationale arbeidsinspecteurs gelanceerd. Het doel is om arbeidsinspecteurs te helpen bij het aanpakken van de risico’s die werknemers lopen wanneer ze worden blootgesteld aan Respirabel kristallijn silica (RCS) op bouwplaatsen.Het document, ontwikkeld door de SLIC-werkgroep voor chemische stoffen, CHEMEX, bevat hoofdstukken over waarom RCS een gezondheidsrisico vormt, het regelgevingskader van de EU en praktische informatie. Dit omvat de controlehi\u00ebrarchie plus belangrijke voorbeelden van relevante controlemaatregelen. Samen met 14 taakbladen richt het zich op de RCS-risico’s met de hoogste prioriteit op bouwplaatsen. Bij het samenstellen van deze richtlijnen heeft de werkgroep rekening gehouden met de praktijken van honderden inspecteurs uit de 28 lidstaten van de Europese Unie. <\/p>\n
