Stof zoveel mogelijk beperken tijdens doe-het-zelf-werkzaamheden is echter een verstandige voorzorgsmaatregel. Het inademen van stof, inclusief stof dat kristallijne silica bevat, gedurende vele jaren kan leiden tot longaandoeningen. De meeste bouwproducten (bv. tegels, bakstenen, mortel) bevatten namelijk kristallijn silica.   <\/p>\n<p>Kristallijn silica, waarvan de meest voorkomende vorm zand is, is een natuurlijk voorkomend mineraal en een vitaal ingredi\u00ebnt in veel producten die we dagelijks gebruiken, inclusief bijna alle soorten materiaal gewonnen uit de aardkorst, die grondstoffen zijn voor bouwproducten. In alledaagse consumentencontexten vormt kristallijne silica geen gezondheidsrisico. Silicastof vormt alleen een risico voor mensen die werken zonder de juiste voorzorgsmaatregelen.  <\/p>\n<p>Er zijn eenvoudige maatregelen om stofvorming te voorkomen en door stof te voorkomen, kunt u ook blootstelling aan kristallijn silica voorkomen. De richtlijnen behandelen typische stoffige taken in een algemene aanpak, ze gaan niet in op het gebruik\/toepassen van de producten, waarvoor de instructies van de fabrikant gevolgd moeten worden. <\/p>\n<p>De website belicht een reeks doe-het-zelf activiteiten en biedt specifieke &#8220;do&#8217;s en don&#8217;ts&#8221; voor elke activiteit.
