Deze gevaren kunnen verschillende vormen aannemen, vari\u00ebrend van chemische reagentia en biologische agentia tot ioniserende straling. Langdurige blootstelling aan deze stoffen kan het risico op het ontwikkelen van kanker of andere nadelige gezondheidseffecten verhogen.  <\/p>\n<p>Chemische reagentia die vaak in medische laboratoria worden gebruikt, zoals formaldehyde, bepaalde oplosmiddelen en andere kankerverwekkende stoffen, brengen potenti\u00eble risico&#8217;s met zich mee. Daarnaast kan de omgang met biologische materialen, waaronder besmettelijke stoffen, gezondheidsrisico&#8217;s met zich meebrengen als de juiste veiligheidsprotocollen niet worden gevolgd. Ioniserende straling van diagnostische apparatuur zoals r\u00f6ntgenapparaten vormt ook een potentieel kankerverwekkend risico als er niet zorgvuldig mee wordt omgegaan.  <\/p>\n<p>Om deze risico&#8217;s te voorkomen, is het cruciaal om strikte veiligheidsprotocollen te volgen en beschermende maatregelen te gebruiken. Dit omvat het dragen van de juiste persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PPE) zoals handschoenen, laboratoriumjassen en veiligheidsbrillen bij het werken met chemicali\u00ebn of biologische monsters.
