Hoewel je je primair richt op de verzorging en teelt van planten, is het cruciaal om op de hoogte te zijn van mogelijke beroepsrisico&#8217;s, waaronder die welke verband houden met kankerverwekkende stoffen.   <\/p>\n<p>Een belangrijke zorg is de mogelijke blootstelling aan stoffen zoals pesticiden, herbiciden of meststoffen die in de tuinbouw worden gebruikt. Sommige van deze stoffen kunnen componenten bevatten met mogelijk kankerverwekkende eigenschappen (bijvoorbeeld arseenverbindingen). Langdurige blootstelling aan deze stoffen kan het risico op gezondheidsproblemen op termijn verhogen. Om dit risico te beperken, is het essentieel om voldoende ventilatie te installeren, geschikte persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PBM) te gebruiken en veiligheidsprotocollen te volgen, zodat direct contact met potentieel schadelijke stoffen tot een minimum wordt beperkt.     <\/p>\n<p>Door prioriteit te geven aan veiligheidsmaatregelen, beschermende uitrusting te gebruiken en zich strikt te houden aan de richtlijnen van de sector, kunnen tuinders de potenti\u00eble gezondheidsrisico&#8217;s die aan hun beroep verbonden zijn aanzienlijk verminderen.
