Als Technicus explosieven bestaat je taak uit het omgaan met en beheren van explosieve materialen voor verschillende toepassingen, waaronder bouw, mijnbouw en sloop. Hoewel je je in de eerste plaats richt op het waarborgen van de veiligheid en precisie bij het gebruik van explosieven, is het van cruciaal belang dat je je bewust bent van de potenti\u00eble beroepsrisico’s die aan je beroep verbonden zijn. <\/p>\n

Een belangrijk punt van zorg is de mogelijke blootstelling aan giftige en kankerverwekkende stoffen die aanwezig zijn in explosieve materialen en die ontstaan tijdens de sloop (asbest, Respirabel kristallijn silica (RKS)). Sommige bestanddelen van explosieven kunnen nadelige gevolgen hebben voor de gezondheid, en langdurige blootstelling kan na verloop van tijd risico’s opleveren.
