Deze risico&#8217;s kunnen ontstaan door het hanteren, opslaan en onderhouden van explosieven en de bijbehorende chemicali\u00ebn die in het veld worden gebruikt. Stoffen in explosieve materialen kunnen kankerverwekkend zijn.  <\/p>\n<p>Voortdurende blootstelling aan deze kankerverwekkende stoffen kan het risico op het ontwikkelen van gezondheidseffecten op lange termijn verhogen, waaronder kankers zoals leukemie, blaaskanker en kanker van de luchtwegen. Praktijken zoals goede ventilatiesystemen, routinematige medische screenings en het naleven van veiligheidsvoorschriften zijn essentieel om de potenti\u00eble gezondheidsrisico&#8217;s te beperken die gepaard gaan met de rol van een Munitietechnicus. Op de hoogte blijven van de vooruitgang in veiligheidsmaatregelen en deelnemen aan voortdurende trainingsprogramma&#8217;s kan de veiligheid op de werkplek vergroten en de kans op negatieve gezondheidseffecten op de lange termijn verkleinen.
