Als mijnwerker bent u in hoge mate blootgesteld aan mogelijke kankerverwekkende gevaren, waardoor een waakzame benadering van veiligheid op de werkplek noodzakelijk is. De mijnbouwomgeving brengt verschillende risico’s met zich mee die verband houden met de aanwezigheid van gevaarlijke stoffen die het risico op de ontwikkeling van kanker kunnen verhogen. Deze kankerverwekkende stoffen kunnen verschillende vormen aannemen, waaronder blootstelling aan giftige mineralen, zware metalen, kwartsstof, dieseluitlaatgassen en andere schadelijke stoffen die vaak voorkomen in mijnbouwactiviteiten. <\/p>\n

Voortdurend inademen of huidcontact met deze kankerverwekkende stoffen kan leiden tot ernstige gevolgen voor de gezondheid op de lange termijn, zoals een verhoogde vatbaarheid voor longkanker, mesothelioom en huidkanker. Daarom is het van cruciaal belang om prioriteit te geven aan veiligheid en proactieve maatregelen te nemen om blootstelling tot een minimum te beperken. <\/p>\n
