Deze risico&#8217;s kunnen verschillende vormen aannemen, waaronder blootstelling aan metaalstof, schurende materialen en mogelijk schadelijke chemicali\u00ebn. Langdurig contact met deze stoffen kan je risico op kanker of andere nadelige gezondheidseffecten verhogen.  <\/p>\n<p>Metaalstof dat vrijkomt tijdens afwerkingsprocessen zoals schuren, polijsten of slijpen kan deeltjes bevatten die bij inademing risico&#8217;s voor de luchtwegen kunnen opleveren en na verloop van tijd kunnen bijdragen aan een verhoogde kans op kanker. Schurende materialen en de chemicali\u00ebn die gebruikt worden bij metaalafwerking, zoals oplosmiddelen en coatings, kunnen ook stoffen bevatten met carcinogene eigenschappen. <\/p>\n<p>Om deze risico&#8217;s tot een minimum te beperken, is het van cruciaal belang om proactieve veiligheidsmaatregelen te nemen en de beste praktijken in de metaalafwerking na te leven. Het implementeren van effectieve ventilatiesystemen en het gebruik van afzuiginstallaties tijdens afwerkingsprocessen kan het inademen van stof en dampen aanzienlijk verminderen.
