Een belangrijk punt van zorg is de mogelijke blootstelling aan uitlaatgassen van dieselmotoren (DEG) die kunnen vrijkomen bij logistieke activiteiten en opslag van goederen. Langdurige blootstelling aan deze dampen kan na verloop van tijd het risico op gezondheidsproblemen verhogen, waaronder ademhalingsproblemen of kanker. Om dit risico te beperken, is het essentieel om gebruik te maken van technische ventilatieoplossingen of over te schakelen op vorkheftrucks die op batterijen werken, de juiste persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PPE) te gebruiken en veiligheidsprotocollen na te leven, zodat direct contact met potentieel schadelijke materialen tot een minimum wordt beperkt. <\/p>\n
