Hun werk is van cruciaal belang in verschillende bedrijfstakken, waaronder de productie, bouw en nutsbedrijven. Monteurs worden geconfronteerd met verschillende beroepsrisico&#8217;s vanwege de aard van hun werk, waarbij vaak zware machines, hoge temperaturen en gevaarlijke materialen worden gebruikt, bijvoorbeeld tijdens lasprocessen.  <\/p>\n<p>Mogelijke blootstelling aan gevaarlijke materialen zijn asbest bij het werken in oudere gebouwen en stof en dampen van las-, snij- en machinale bewerkingsprocessen. Zorg voor goede ventilatie en installeer zo mogelijk plaatselijke afzuiging. Zorg ervoor dat alle gereedschappen en apparatuur goed onderhouden en veilig te gebruiken zijn. Strikte naleving van veiligheidsrichtlijnen en -protocollen, waaronder lockout\/tagout-procedures.   <\/p>\n<p>Regelmatige training over veilige werkpraktijken en het herkennen van gevaren.
