Als diervoedingsdeskundige ligt je expertise in het formuleren en aanbevelen van uitgebalanceerde en voedzame di\u00ebten voor dieren. Hoewel je werk zich voornamelijk richt op het bevorderen van de gezondheid en het welzijn van dieren door middel van goede voeding, zijn er belangrijke overwegingen voor je eigen welzijn op dit gebied. <\/p>\n

Het fysieke veiligheidsaspect van je functie bestaat uit het hanteren en analyseren van verschillende voedermiddelen, waarvan sommige risico’s met zich mee kunnen brengen, zoals allergenen of verontreinigende stoffen. Daarom zijn het naleven van veiligheidsprotocollen, het installeren van de juiste ventilatie, het onderhouden van een schone en georganiseerde werkruimte en het gebruik van de juiste persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen (PPE), indien nodig, essentieel om de risico’s in verband met gevaarlijke stoffen waaraan je kunt worden blootgesteld tot een minimum te beperken. <\/p>\n
