Als landmeter bestaat je taak uit het meten en in kaart brengen van land en het verzamelen van gegevens voor bouw-, constructie- of landontwikkelingsprojecten. Hoewel uw beroep misschien niet direct blootstelling aan kankerverwekkende stoffen met zich meebrengt, is het belangrijk dat u zich bewust bent van mogelijke beroepsrisico’s, waaronder risico’s die indirect verband houden met kankerverwekkende risico’s binnen de landmeetkundige omgeving. <\/p>\n

Kankerverwekkende risico’s kunnen zich op verschillende manieren manifesteren binnen het landmeetkundige vakgebied, zoals blootstelling aan gevaarlijke chemicali\u00ebn tijdens bodemonderzoek, grondafgravingen of inspecties ter plaatse. Bepaalde bouwmaterialen, pesticiden of industri\u00eble chemicali\u00ebn die worden gebruikt bij landontwikkelingsprojecten kunnen bijvoorbeeld kankerverwekkende stoffen bevatten. <\/p>\n

Om deze risico’s te beperken, moeten landmeters prioriteit geven aan veiligheidsmaatregelen en zich houden aan de beste praktijken in hun vakgebied. Dit omvat het gebruik van goede ventilatiesystemen en het volgen van vastgestelde veiligheidsprotocollen om de blootstelling aan kankerverwekkende stoffen te minimaliseren.
