Deze gevaren kunnen bestaan uit chemische reagentia, radioactieve materialen, biologische agentia en fysieke gevaren zoals straling en elektrische apparatuur. <\/p>\n<p>Blootstelling aan dergelijke stoffen en gevaren levert een aanzienlijk risico op nadelige gezondheidseffecten op, waaronder een verhoogd risico op kanker. Langdurige blootstelling aan bepaalde chemicali\u00ebn zoals formaldehyde en benzeen, die vaak in laboratoria worden gebruikt, kan bijvoorbeeld het risico op het ontwikkelen van verschillende soorten kanker verhogen, waaronder leukemie of longkanker. <\/p>\n<p>Om deze risico&#8217;s te beperken, is het noodzakelijk om strikte veiligheidsprotocollen en best practices in laboratoriumomgevingen na te leven.
