Gevaren in verband met afvalinzameling zijn onder andere verhoogde blootstelling aan chemische gevaren in verband met uitlaatgassen van dieselmotoren (DEG), zware metalen, vluchtige organische stoffen en stof. <\/p>\n<p>Om deze risico&#8217;s te beperken, moeten afvalinzamelaars prioriteit geven aan veiligheidsmaatregelen en zich houden aan de beste praktijken in hun werkomgeving. Dit omvat het gebruik van goede ventilatiesystemen waar mogelijk en het volgen van vastgestelde veiligheidsprotocollen om de blootstelling aan schadelijke stoffen op de werkplek te verminderen.
