Det er imidlertid ogs\u00e5 et viktig f\u00f8rste skritt for \u00e5 vurdere helserisiko og sette prioriteringer for \u00e5 erstatte farlige stoffer med sikrere alternativer.<\/p>\n<h2>En praktisk bransjel\u00f8sning<\/h2>\n<p>For \u00e5 redusere tiden, kostnadene og ekspertisen som kreves for registrering av farlige stoffer, s\u00f8kte Volandis \u2013 kunnskaps- og r\u00e5dgivningssenteret for partene i det nederlandske bygg- og anleggsbransjen \u2013 etter en praktisk l\u00f8sning som ville tillate byggefirmaer \u00e5 registrere produkter kollektivt og med minimal innsats.<\/p>\n<h2>Slik fungerer assistenten<\/h2>\n<p>Med innspill fra Volandis og ArboTechniek, dens tilsvarende i installasjonsteknologibransjen, ble Schadelijke Stoffen Assistent (SSA; Assistent for farlige stoffer) utviklet av Chemrade, en eksisterende plattform for stoffregistrering og eksponeringsmodellering. SSA gir bedrifter tilgang til en delt, bransjeomfattende database med sikkerhetsdatablader. Bedrifter kan velge de databladene som er relevante for deres egen situasjon, unng\u00e5 dobbeltarbeid og forbedre konsistensen p\u00e5 tvers av sektoren. N\u00e5r et sikkerhetsdatablad blir forespurt for f\u00f8rste gang, legger Chemrade inn relevant informasjon i databasen, noe som bidrar til \u00e5 sikre h\u00f8y kvalitet og p\u00e5litelig registrering.<\/p>\n<h2>Bredere potensial<\/h2>\n<p>SSA er n\u00e5 tilgjengelig utover bygg- og anleggssektoren og har potensial til \u00e5 bli en bredere plattform for \u00e5 st\u00f8tte effektive helsepolitikker for farlige stoffer.
