Natriumdikromatet som opprinnelig ble levert og h\u00e5ndtert som fast, rent stoff, har blitt erstattet med en vandig l\u00f8sning som mottas i bulk. Denne l\u00f8sningen lagres i en lagringstank og h\u00e5ndteres kun i lukket sl\u00f8yfe ved hjelp av et automatisk system for \u00e5 minimere syklus\u00e5pningen. P\u00e5 denne m\u00e5ten foreg\u00e5r alle operasjoner i et lukket system fra lagring til reaksjon, noe som minimerer \u00e5pningen av syklusen og eksponeringen av arbeiderne. Noen av produktene krever bruk av kreftfremkallende stoffer. Selskapets h\u00f8ye og konstante oppmerksomhet p\u00e5 arbeidernes helse og milj\u00f8et har v\u00e6rt den utl\u00f8sende faktoren for \u00e5 forbedre prosesser og driftsprosedyrer der disse stoffene er involvert.  <\/p>\n<p>De tre f\u00f8lgende casene er eksempler p\u00e5 beste praksis for \u00e5 forbedre prosessene (f\u00f8rste case) eller h\u00e5ndteringen av kreftfremkallende r\u00e5materialer (andre og tredje case) for \u00e5 redusere arbeidstakernes potensielle eksponering:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CASE 1: <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/good-practice\/use-12-dichloroethane-edc-strictly-controlled-conditions\/\">Bruk av 1,2-dikloretan (EDC) under strengt kontrollerte forhold<\/a><\/li>\n<li>CASE 2: Bruk av vandig l\u00f8sning i stedet for fast, rent stoff (aktuelt tilfelle)<\/li>\n<li>CASE 3: <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/no\/good-practice\/dry-disconnect-koblinger-brukes-til-lossing-av-farlig-materiale-fra-lastebiler-og-minibulks-ibc-containere\/\">Dry Disconnect-koblinger som brukes til lossing av farlig materiale fra lastebiler og minibulks\/IBC-containere<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Resultater<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Den fullstendige implementeringen av denne beste praksisen har hatt stor innvirkning p\u00e5 de anleggene der den har blitt brukt. Til tross for at problemene var forskjellige og l\u00f8sningene selvsagt ogs\u00e5 var forskjellige, hadde de alle et felles resultat: en effektiv reduksjon av arbeidernes eksponering for kreftfremkallende stoffer. Det f\u00f8rste tilfellet er et eksempel p\u00e5 en kompleks god praksis som ogs\u00e5 forbedrer produksjonsprosessen og bruken av r\u00e5materialer. Den andre gode praksisen gjorde det mulig \u00e5 eliminere h\u00e5ndteringen av et fast kreftfremkallende stoff og sette inn arbeidet i en lukket syklus. Det tredje eksempelet er en interessant god praksis for \u00e5 redusere eksponeringen, og som lett kan tas i bruk ved h\u00e5ndtering av farlige materialer generelt.
