EASCR representerer interessene til produsenter av innovative produkter for sikrere fjerning av belegg. Frem til dannelsen av foreningen var ikke synspunktene og ambisjonene til den &laquo;alternative&raquo; bransjen for fjerning av belegg (innf\u00f8ring av diklormetanfrie produkter) representert i Europa.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Problemstilling og omgivelser<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Malingfjernere og rengj\u00f8ringsmidler pleide \u00e5 inneholde det kreftfremkallende stoffet diklormetan (DCM). EASCR har som m\u00e5l \u00e5 fremme en bredere anerkjennelse i Europa av sikrere materialer\/produkter som kan erstatte farlige l\u00f8semidler, og \u00e5 samarbeide med andre produsenter av alternative produkter og teknologier. Dette f\u00f8rer til en koordinert tiln\u00e6rming for \u00e5 utdanne og fremme innovasjoner hos entrepren\u00f8rer.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>L\u00f8sning<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>EASCR har gjennomf\u00f8rt mange aktiviteter for \u00e5 forbedre sikkerheten p\u00e5 arbeidsplassene i bransjen for fjerning av belegg og rengj\u00f8ring, som f.eks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nye produktutviklinger basert p\u00e5 trygge alternative l\u00f8semidler har blitt introdusert<\/li>\n<li>Fremme av malingfjernere og rengj\u00f8ringsmidler uten DCM<\/li>\n<li>Opplyse forbrukere, handel og industri om tilgjengelige, trygge og effektive alternativer<\/li>\n<li>V\u00e6re et ekspertforum og en diskusjonsplattform for fremtidens innovative teknologier med kvalifisert kunnskap<\/li>\n<li>Lobbyvirksomhet overfor myndighetene for \u00e5 f\u00e5 dem til \u00e5 gi klare retningslinjer og instruksjoner til b\u00e5de forbrukere og industrisektoren om farlige materialer som kan skade menneskers helse og\/eller milj\u00f8et<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Resultat<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Europaparlamentet har vedtatt \u00e5 forby bruk av DCM. Siden 2012 har det v\u00e6rt forbudt \u00e5 bruke DCM.
