Statistikk viser at: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rundt 13 000 d\u00f8dsfall i Storbritannia hvert \u00e5r som f\u00f8lge av yrkesrelaterte lungesykdommer og kreft<\/li>\n<li>Det ansl\u00e5s at over 40 % av alle nye kreftregistreringer\/d\u00f8dsfall er blant bygningsarbeidere.<\/li>\n<li>Det ansl\u00e5s at mer enn 600 bygningsarbeidere i Storbritannia d\u00f8r av eksponering for silikast\u00f8v hvert \u00e5r - noe som tilsvarer mer enn 10 per uke.<\/li>\n<li>25,7 millioner arbeidsdager g\u00e5r tapt hvert \u00e5r i Storbritannia p\u00e5 grunn av arbeidsrelaterte helseplager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>L\u00f8sning<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>CDP har kollektivt blitt enige om \u00e5:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>M\u00e5lrett innsatsen mot farlig byggest\u00f8v, spesielt det som gir st\u00f8rst risiko for lungesykdom.<\/li>\n<li>\u00d8ke bevisstheten i byggebransjen om risikoen for \u00e5 utvikle lungesykdommer p\u00e5 grunn av inn\u00e5nding av dette st\u00f8vet.<\/li>\n<li>Identifiser de arbeidsoppgavene som medf\u00f8rer st\u00f8rst risiko for at arbeiderne utvikler slike tilstander.<\/li>\n<li>Samarbeid for \u00e5 bli enige om og fremme forholdsmessige kontroller for \u00e5 minimere risikoen ved disse h\u00f8yrisikooppgavene.<\/li>\n<li>Utvikle eksplisitte lenker til effektive r\u00e5d og veiledning for arbeidsgivere og bygningsarbeidere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De mener nemlig at et partnerskap mellom tilsynsmyndighetene og bransjen vil ha st\u00f8rre gjennomslagskraft enn det som kan oppn\u00e5s ved \u00e5 arbeide isolert. Det bidrar til \u00e5 utvikle innovasjon, drive frem forbedringer og sikre konsistens. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Resultat<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Partnerskapet har oppn\u00e5dd en rekke resultater, blant annet<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lansering av en egen nettside med praktiske tips til b\u00e5de arbeidsgivere og arbeidstakere.<\/li>\n<li>Gjennomf\u00f8rer &laquo;gratis&raquo; arrangementer for \u00e5 \u00f8ke bevisstheten om st\u00f8v<\/li>\n<li>Utarbeidelse av en rapport om
