Noen bransjer har allerede iverksatt n\u00f8dvendige tiltak for \u00e5 eliminere eksponeringen for kreftfremkallende stoffer. Men selv om bedriftene fors\u00f8ker \u00e5 eliminere bruken av alle kreftfremkallende, mutagene og reproduksjonstoksiske stoffer (CMR-stoffer), er dette ikke gjennomf\u00f8rt fullt ut enn\u00e5.  <\/p>\n<h2><u>L\u00f8sning<\/u><\/h2>\n<p>Inspektoratet i det nederlandske sosial- og arbeidsdepartementet har utviklet en nasjonal kampanje kalt &laquo;On the road to zero&raquo; for \u00e5 eliminere eksponeringen for kreftfremkallende stoffer p\u00e5 arbeidsplassen. Kampanjen fokuserer p\u00e5 \u00e5 gj\u00f8re folk oppmerksomme p\u00e5 farene ved \u00e5 arbeide med kreftfremkallende stoffer, samt \u00e5 starte en samtale om l\u00f8sninger p\u00e5 dette problemet. Tilsynet st\u00f8tter bedrifter som \u00f8nsker \u00e5 redusere bruken av CMR-stoffer, og diskuterer med leverand\u00f8rer hvordan de kan arbeide for et sunnere og tryggere arbeidsmilj\u00f8.  <\/p>\n<h2><u>Resultater<\/u><\/h2>\n<p>Generelt har reduksjon av eksponering for Kreftfremkallende stoffer blitt et av de viktigste sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5lene som myndigheter, bransjer og fagforeninger for ansatte diskuterer. Dette resulterer i \u00f8kt bevissthet.<br \/>\nInspektoratet og FNV (den nederlandske fagforeningen) har utviklet apper for ansatte med informasjon om arbeid med CMR-stoffer. Inspektoratet har ogs\u00e5 utviklet et verkt\u00f8y for egenkontroll, &laquo;Self-Inspection Hazardous Substances&raquo;, som hjelper arbeidsgivere med \u00e5 f\u00e5 oversikt over hvilke farlige stoffer som finnes i bedriften og hvilke sikkerhetstiltak som er p\u00e5 plass. Det vil ogs\u00e5 bli foretatt en oppdatering av nettstedet med mer informasjon om CMR-stoffer. To ganger i \u00e5ret publiserer Arbeidstilsynet en liste over aktuelle CMR-stoffer. Det er allerede obligatorisk for bedrifter \u00e5 erstatte alle CMR-stoffer med tryggere alternativer n\u00e5r dette er teknisk og praktisk mulig.
