ChemSec arbeider for \u00e5 bygge bro mellom beslutningstakere, industri, frivillige organisasjoner og forskere. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><strong>Milj\u00f8 og problemstilling<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Siden 1940-tallet har forekomsten av sykdommer og helseproblemer, inkludert kreftrelaterte helseproblemer p\u00e5 arbeidsplassen, \u00f8kt betydelig. Etter hvert som forskningen skyter fart, \u00f8ker bevisene for at daglig eksponering for farlige kjemikalier kan spille en betydelig rolle i utviklingen av helseproblemer. De samarbeider ogs\u00e5 med bedrifter for \u00e5 redusere bruken av farlige kjemikalier og for \u00e5 f\u00e5 deres st\u00f8tte til en progressiv kjemikalielovgivning. <\/p>\n<p>ChemSec best\u00e5r av et unikt og sv\u00e6rt dedikert team av kjemikere, statsvitere, forretningseksperter og kommunikat\u00f8rer. Alt arbeidet deres tar sikte p\u00e5 \u00e5 fremskynde overgangen til en verden fri for farlige kjemikalier. ChemSecs arbeid kan deles inn i tre deler: politikk, n\u00e6ringsliv og investorer samt verkt\u00f8y.  <\/p>\n<p>Politikk - ChemSec er en akkreditert interessent i en rekke politiske institusjoner, komiteer og initiativer. De bruker sin kunnskap og posisjon til \u00e5 p\u00e5virke og forbedre m\u00e5ten kjemikalielovgivningen implementeres p\u00e5 i praksis. <\/p>\n<p>N\u00e6ringsliv og investorer - ChemSec engasjerer seg i bedriftsdebatten om hvordan vi kan komme bort fra farlige stoffer. ChemSec Business Group er for eksempel et samarbeid mellom selskaper som jobber sammen for \u00e5 inspirere til konkrete fremskritt n\u00e5r det gjelder \u00e5 redusere bruken av giftige stoffer. Gruppen samler markedsledende selskaper fra en rekke ulike bransjer for \u00e5 utvikle en effektiv praksis for substitusjon av farlige stoffer. Gruppen bidrar ogs\u00e5 til \u00e5 \u00f8ke den offentlige bevisstheten om selskapenes innsats for \u00e5 v\u00e6re p\u00e5drivere p\u00e5 dette omr\u00e5det.   <\/p>\n<p>Verkt\u00f8y - ChemSec tilbyr ulike verkt\u00f8y for (reduksjon av) farlige stoffer.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Resultater<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>ChemSec arbeider for \u00e5 fremme samarbeid og \u00e5pen dialog mellom alle interessenter som er interessert i utfasing av farlige kjemikalier. De er alltid ute etter \u00e5 oppn\u00e5 effektive l\u00f8sninger og konkrete, b\u00e6rekraftige resultater.
