Dette tallet, som i stor grad er undervurdert, illustrerer en alarmerende virkelighet som f\u00e5r lite mediedekning. Til sammenligning er dette langt flere enn antallet d\u00f8dsfall for\u00e5rsaket av trafikkulykker (500 per \u00e5r) eller kvinnedrap (25 per \u00e5r).  <\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 europeisk niv\u00e5 slukkes 100 000 liv hvert \u00e5r, noe som tilsvarer innbyggertallet i en by som Mons i Belgia. Disse d\u00f8dsfallene er 20 til 30 ganger flere enn de som for\u00e5rsakes av arbeidsulykker. <\/p>\n<h2>Et nytt sentralt fokus<\/h2>\n<p>Form&#8217;action Andr\u00e9 Renard (det belgiske fagforbundet FGTBs senter for oppl\u00e6ring, publikasjoner, audiovisuelle produksjoner og ekspertise) har i mange \u00e5r hatt denne problemstillingen som en sentral del av sitt arbeid. I den forbindelse har de produsert en serie p\u00e5 22 audiovisuelle filmer med spesialister (bedriftsleger, forebyggingsr\u00e5dgivere, fagforeningseksperter). Disse filmene, som er laget for \u00e5 \u00f8ke bevisstheten og gi informasjon, er n\u00e5 tilgjengelige p\u00e5 nettet: <a
