Kromtrioksid i helsevesenet<\/h2>\n

Kromtrioksid brukes til \u00e5 stoppe bl\u00f8dninger, s\u00e6rlig ved kraftig nesebl\u00f8dning, i en prosess som kalles kauterisering.<\/p>\n

Erstatningen<\/h2>\n

Det viste seg at s\u00f8lvnitrat i form av lunar caustic sticks kan erstatte kromtrioksid som et kauteriseringsmiddel. Bruken av s\u00f8lvnitrat er forbundet med noen ulemper, men det er likevel en fordel sammenlignet med kromtrioksid, som er sv\u00e6rt giftig og kreftfremkallende. <\/p>\n
