If\u00f8lge European Welders Association jobber det rundt 2 000 000 sveisere i EU. Det er et stort potensial for eksponering for farlige stoffer i forbindelse med sveiseaktiviteter. <\/p>\n

Denne veiledningen er utviklet for nasjonale arbeidsinspekt\u00f8rer (NLI) med det form\u00e5l \u00e5 \u00f8ke inspekt\u00f8renes selvtillit n\u00e5r det gjelder \u00e5 h\u00e5ndtere og regulere helserisiko i forbindelse med sveiseaktiviteter og eksponering for sveiser\u00f8yk, og dermed \u00f8ke effektiviteten av NLI-tiltakene, f\u00f8rst og fremst i industrien og andre sektorer som bygg og anlegg. Arbeidstakernes helse er like viktig som deres sikkerhet. SLIC CHEMEX WG har som hovedambisjon \u00e5 gi veiledning som kan hjelpe de nasjonale arbeidslivsinstitusjonene med \u00e5 h\u00e5ndtere helserisikoen forbundet med sveiseaktiviteter p\u00e5 europeiske arbeidsplasser, p\u00e5 samme m\u00e5te som de h\u00e5ndterer sikkerhetsrisikoen.
