Selv om hovedfokuset ditt kanskje ikke er h\u00e5ndtering av farlige materialer, er det potensielle risikoer forbundet med materialene og stoffene du jobber med under FoU-prosessen.   <\/p>\n<p>Under arbeidet ditt kan du komme i kontakt med ulike kjemikalier, materialer eller forbindelser som kan utgj\u00f8re en kreftfremkallende risiko. Enkelte stoffer som brukes i eksperimentelle prosesser kan ha langsiktige helseeffekter, noe som potensielt kan f\u00f8re til \u00f8kt risiko for kreft.   <\/p>\n<p>For \u00e5 redusere potensiell eksponering og h\u00e5ndtere kreftfremkallende risikoer i ditt felt, er det viktig \u00e5 prioritere sikkerhetstiltak i laboratorie- eller forskningsmilj\u00f8et. \u00c5 overholde strenge protokoller for h\u00e5ndtering og avhending av kjemikalier, opprettholde tilstrekkelig ventilasjon i arbeidsomr\u00e5der og regelmessig deltakelse i sikkerhetsoppl\u00e6ring er tiltak for \u00e5 st\u00f8tte bevissthet og redusere eksponering.
