O l\u00edquido \u00e9 corrosivo para a pele e os olhos e pode causar dermatite por contacto com a pele.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Prolonged exposure can cause lung cancer, colon cancer, nasal cancer, and liver cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>O que podes fazer<\/h2>\n<p>A substitui\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel para certas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es, por exemplo, como prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra a corros\u00e3o e agente de fixa\u00e7\u00e3o de oxig\u00e9nio em sistemas de \u00e1gua quente\/vapor ou como fundentes. Os trabalhadores t\u00eam de estar cientes dos efeitos da exposi\u00e7\u00e3o.  <\/p>\n<p>O equipamento de prote\u00e7\u00e3o individual deve ser constitu\u00eddo por uma m\u00e1scara, \u00f3culos, luvas imperme\u00e1veis e vestu\u00e1rio. O equipamento de prote\u00e7\u00e3o individual (EPI) s\u00f3 deve ser utilizado como \u00faltimo recurso, ap\u00f3s a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de poss\u00edveis solu\u00e7\u00f5es de engenharia.
