Primera delovnih situacij, v katerih prihaja do izpostavljenosti rakotvornim snovem zaradi izgorevanja, sta varjenje (<a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/sl\/fact\/hlapi-ki-nastanejo-pri-varjenju\/\">hlapi, ki nastanejo pri varjenju<\/a>) ali vdihavanje  <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/sl\/fact\/izpusni-plini-dizelskih-motorjev\/\">izpu\u0161nih plinov dizelskih motorjev<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Katere dejavnosti povzro\u010dajo emisije?<\/h2>\n<p>Hlapi nastanejo, ko se kovina ali drug material segreva in njegovi hlapi kondenzirajo v zelo drobne delce v zraku. Ti hlapi se lahko spro\u0161\u010dajo pri varjenju, taljenju, segrevanju, gorenju, spajkanju in strjevanju materiala. Delujo\u010di motor oddaja ogljikove spojine in \u0161tevilne druge kemi\u010dne spojine, ki vsebujejo rakotvorne snovi, kljub temu pa lahko pride do izpostavljenosti tudi pri ugasnjenem motorju v prostorih brez prezra\u010devanja ali s slabim prezra\u010devanjem.<\/p>\n<h2>Kje se pojavljajo tveganja<\/h2>\n<p>Procesi zgorevanja potekajo v najrazli\u010dnej\u0161ih industrijah, kot so predelava kovin, gradbeni\u0161tvo, ladjedelnice in transportna industrija. Izpostavljenost izpu\u0161nim plinom motorjev se pojavlja v poklicih, kot so mehaniki v avtobusnih gara\u017eah in tovornih terminalih, vozniki tovornjakov, gasilci, gradbeni delavci, upravljavci vili\u010darjev, ljudje, ki delajo s fiksnimi viri energije, kot so kompresorji, generatorji, delavci, ki nakladajo in razkladajo ladje ali letala, delavci v naftni in plinski industriji ter delavci na cestninskih postajah.<\/p>\n<h2>Koliko zaposlenih je izpostavljenih?<\/h2>\n<p>Ocenjuje se, da je 3,6 milijona zaposlenih v Evropi izpostavljenih izpu\u0161nim plinom dizelskih motorjev. Izpostavljenost <a href=\"https:\/\/stopcarcinogensatwork.eu\/sl\/fact\/spojine-sestvalentnega-kroma\/\">kromu VI<\/a> se pojavi pri varjenju nerjavnega jekla, ne\u017eeleznih zlitin, kromatnih premazov in nekaterih varilnih materialov. \u0160tevilo izpostavljenih kromu VI je ocenjeno na 900.000 zaposlenih v EU.
